A Fun Filled Night At The Downtown Container Park

Las Vegas is full of great activities. If you are looking for something fun to do off the Strip, Fremont Street has a lot to offer. One place in particular that I recommend visiting is the Downtown Container Park.

This park is quite unique; it offers a variety of food places to choose from. My family ate at Big Ern’s BBQ and we were not disappointed. The food does take a little while to make if you are there on a busy Saturday night, but everything was very tasty. They make a great brisket salad; it is huge and very flavorful. The rest of my family ordered pork sandwiches and they were very happy. If you are not a barbecue fan, there are plenty of other great food options available.

After dinner we sat and listened to some jazz music, which was playing at one end of the park. The singer was wonderful and she sang a lot of songs that we all recognized and enjoyed. There is music in the park every last Saturday of the month. If you are looking for a different form of entertainment, check out one of the 360 degree movies playing in the dome. Movie times can be found on the park’s website.

After we had our fill of music we wandered into some of the stores. There is everything from shoes to jewelry, toys, jerky, and nuts. One particular store I like is Kappa Toys. If you love fantasy games, they have some of those. They also have a ton of collectible figurines. If you are a Harry Potter fan, you can find puzzles, games, and other Harry Potter items. I could have looked through this shop for hours. So far this is the most inexpensive price I have found, including online, on Harry Potter Clue; the prices can range though, on other items.

Toward the end of our visit we were pleasantly surprised when suddenly the Praying Mantis at the front of the park began to move to the music and shoot flames out of its antennae. This was a really neat sight to see. Later in the evening the Praying Mantis began moving again and you could feel the heat from the flames all the way across the street.

The Downtown Container Park is fun, but after 9pm, you must be twenty-one and older to enter. Another rule the park has, is that no pets are allowed, accept llamas and service animals. I find that a little bit funny. Perhaps next time I will bring my llama.

Let’s All Go To Zombie Burlesque

Now that you have planned a trip to Las Vegas; you have planned a trip to Las Vegas, haven’t you? Well perhaps you don’t plan your trips as frequently as my husband and I do. We went to Las Vegas in October of 2016, January of 2017, and now we are leaving shortly to head back to Las Vegas. We go to Vegas frequently because we have family there and we know how to have a good time on and off the Strip.

Speaking of having a good time, if you are ever in Las Vegas and wondering if you should see the show Zombie Burlesque, the answer is yes. Yes you should go see the show Zombie Burlesque. It may sound a little bit odd, and it probably is. I have seen this show twice and I have taken relatives with me, as well as sent my parents on their own. Everyone has enjoyed themselves immensely.

This show is comedic and it will make you laugh. Some of the jokes are very slapstick. It’s not on the gruesome side, if that was your concern. The zombies are still fairly attractive. You will see beautiful costumes and a lot of singing and dancing; this show is silly, sexy, musical fun.

Tickets will run you about $80 per person online, plus fees. You can at times find tickets on Groupon for $39 or two for $72. I bought my tickets through Groupon and I see that there is still a special available at this time. Whatever you are doing in Las Vegas, this show is worth a view.

Sexy Fun For Every One

When it comes to Las Vegas shows, I have taken in several. I have seen almost every Cirque; several of them, more than once. I have gone to multiple comedy shows. I have watched and enjoyed Rose. Rabbit. Lie., Absinthe, Zombie Burlesque, The Evil Dead Musical, and more.

Of all the shows I have viewed, my favorite have been the following: The Beatles Love, Cris Angel Mind Freak, Zumanity, and Rose. Rabbit. Lie. The other shows are wonderful; don’t get me wrong, these particular shows just have something extra to pull the crowd in.

The show I want to talk about today is Zumanity. This show is a part of the Cirque Du Soleil family and is very much styled after a cabaret. I have seen it twice. The first time I went was about six years ago and then again this past October. My husband, Neal, has seen this show three times now, because I wanted to see it twice. This last viewing of Zumanity had new acts, but provided just as much provocative, sexy fun, as it did the first time.

If you want to be a part of a sexual dream world, this is where it’s at. You get great music, beautiful costumes, sexy actors and actresses doing exciting things and you feel like you could be asked to join in at any moment. The Mistress of Sensuality does a great job of wandering out into the crowd and asking guests questions about their relationships. Someone always blushes, refuses to answer, or says something completely off the wall.

The feeling is surreal as you watch the actors and actresses methodically move together, or at times, even alone. The music chosen for this show very much helps the audience feel like they are in a sensual play land right along with the stars. By the end of the performance, everyone in the audience is feeling their pent up sexuality and wanting to leave with a playmate of their own.

If you like cabaret and you have a little bit of a freaky side, this particular show would be a great choice for you. However, if you are a bit reserved and uncomfortable with sexuality and innuendos, then you should stay far away from Zumanity; you may learn things about yourself that you never wanted to know. This show is definitely not for children, but then in my opinion, most of the Las Vegas night life and some of the day life, is not for children either.
