If you plan a trip to Colorado and you are looking for things to do, you will not fall short on places of interest. The culture and history in Colorado is quite vast and covers everything from distilleries, to mines, to museums about the old west. Some of these places can be found just outside of Denver, in Golden, Colorado.

One particular attraction, that I recommend, is Buffalo Bill’s Grave Site. This can be a fun little stop if you are looking for a travel break. You will find great views, a café, a store full of all sorts of fun trinkets, a museum, a buffalo herd, and of course, the famous resting place of Buffalo Bill.

This particular stop can provide a lot of history for family’s if you are looking for something educational for children. I particularly liked the walk up to the Grave Site, it was quite neat to see where Buffalo Bill Cody, had been lain to rest. It was also fun to just wander around and look at everything. In all honesty, I could have spent hours here just wandering around, so much to look at.
